After more than a five-year hiatus, the UP Journalism Club once again held its Digital Arts Workshop.

Also known as DAW, the event aimed to equip JCers and applicants with the basic skills in digital arts like graphics editing, video editing, photography, and layout and design.

Lecturers include former UPJC Vice-President for Internal Affairs Shaira Panela, former Publicity Committee Head Lowell Fredrick Madrileño, and Mulat Pinoy graphics designer Kenneth Karganilla.

“Having basic knowledge and skills on photo editing, video editing, laying out and photography will be useful not only during our stay in the academe but also as we start our careers,” said UPJC President Ian Vincent Imperial.

The project was organized by the UPJC Publicity Committee with Yvan Limson and Christine Joy Sarmiento as project heads.
