Campus Journalism Workshop Mayamot
Members of the UP Journalism Club trained contenders for the Regional Secondary Schools Press Conference (RSSPC) of Mayamot National High School last November 28 in preparation for the competition.
Top placers in the Division Secondary Schools Press Conference (DSSPC) participated in intensive lectures on copyreading in English and Filipino, feature writing in English, broadcasting in Filipino, and editorial writing in English.
This is in preparation for the RSSPC next month to be held in Lucena City.
There were also mass lectures on news writing, sports writing, and journalism ethics.
UPJC members Lindley Agustin, Alex Austria, Myra Cabujat, Faith Desquitado, Gian Geronimo, Mark Manalang, and Samsara Pagaduan acted as lecturers in the said event.
